Our family’s first restaurant, The Jerk Shop, was established in 2014 on the Westside of Chicago.
Today, the restaurant still thrives in the Austin community as a place where every customer is treated like family.
JERK SHOP GO - Macomb, IL
Upon attending college, my Triplet sisters and I (Kadejia, Kendra and Kenya Berkley) introduced The Jerk Shop to Macomb, where we offered great, affordable food for the entire town to enjoy.
After recieving a ton of support from students around campus, our parents (Ladora and Ken) helped fund a build-out for a small brick and motor location in Macomb.
In 2018, we moved Jerk Shop Go to a new location in Downtown Macomb, IL.
Our family has worked tiredlessly to provide great, savory, Caribbean fushion food to various communities while demonstrating exceptional customer service. We take pride in bringing diverse cultures and communities together through the mutual enjoyment of great food.

In 2020, Kadejia opened up a new Jerk Shop location in Downtown Springfield, IL after graduating from college. The location still thrives today in the metropolitan area.
A New Beginning!
Kendra and Kenya obtained their degrees and went on to open a new Jerk Shop Go in Atalnta, GA. The shop was prosperous in Perimeter Mall from September 21’ - October 23’as we worked to expand our brand and customer base from the frigid Midwest to fiery South.
In October 2023, the Triplets came together to open up their first bar & grill restaurant: “The Jerk Shop House of Flavor,”in College Park, GA.
The Jerk Shop House of Flavor location in College Park still stands as a restaurant that offers fresh, hearty Caribbean food while simultaneously treating every customer like family!
